Certified Holistic Health Coach & 500-Hour Certified Yoga Instructor
I envisioned Anchor Yoga & Wellness when I realized that I overcame severe anxiety, health and gut issues, and improved my overall well-being by taking a holistic approach to all areas in my life. My decision to share these tools, and lifestyle changes is why I became a certified yoga instructor, and a holistic health coach.
A little bit about me:
I was born and raised in New Jersey, and attended college at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey where I studied Communication, and Psychology. After graduation I got a full-time job at the University and continued to work there for over 10 years. In that time I suffered from anxiety and panic disorder, gut and health issues, and was feeling utterly unfulfilled in my career.
My Why:
During this time I found yoga and meditation. I joined a local studio and started practicing yoga 3-4 times a week. After 3 years of practicing and seeing the positive changes happening in my life as a result of yoga, I decided to go through a 200 hour and a 300 hour yoga teacher training program.
This is when I realized I was meant to help people.
I started teaching yoga part-time after work and on weekends. I felt a true calling to helping people. I felt connected to my students, and invested in them.
After teaching yoga for a little over a year, I decided to join the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's health and wellness coaching program.
Now I am living a centered, connected, and fulfilled life. It requires work. It requires time. It requires planning. I am here to coach you and empower you to heal naturally through nutrition, movement, and mindset.
